Constituents:  Unsaturated pyrrolizidine alkaloids, sesquiterpene lactones

Actions: Anti-cataract

Centaury

Medical uses: Cataract (topically)

Pharmacy:  TOPICAL USE ONLY

Contraindications: Internal Use

Toxicity: Contains hepatotoxic alkaloids.

Interactions: Theoretically should not be combined with hepatotoxic drugs.
