Hello Herb Lover!

My name is Marisa Marciano and I’m a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Herbalist (AHG), and Chair of the Department of Botanical Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. 

My love for herbal medicine and the healing properties of the plant kingdom runs deep, and it’s for this reason I’ve aimed to create the kind of resource I wish I’d had while learning the wondrous ins & outs of plant medicine. The study and practice of herbal medicine is both healing and transformative, and my deepest intention is to support anyone looking to deepen their relationship with these incredible medicines.

While forging my own herbal path I learned quickly that for all the merits of memorizing herbal theory, the most meaningful approach towards accessing the healing potential of plants is through our bodily senses. Never neglect to taste, smell, touch, and take an overall ‘hands-on-herbal approach’ on your own healing & learning journey.
